Individual or Institutions conferred by the federation in reorganization of contribution to the development of handicrafts and federation.

  • Opportunities to participate in observation and study mission programs in foreign countries to enhance the existing skills and knowledge, which are being organized in the initiation of the federation could be obtained.

Membership benefits

Procedure of Membership

  1. Individual Membership:
  2. An individual who intends to obtain the membership of the Federation has to complete the following:

    1. 1. Has to fill up the details mentioned in the prescribed application form obtained from Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal Office. (Download – Individual Membership Form)
    2. 2. Has to produce citizenship certificate copy - 1 No.
    3. 3. Has to produce passport size photo - 3 No.
    4. 4. Has to produce auto size photo – 2 No.
    5. 5. Has to be proposed by an existing member and seconded by an executive board member in the prescribed form. The proponent if a legal entity, should put on the company seal in the form.
    6. 6. The prescribed form is duly proposed to the executive board meeting for the approval. The applicant will be informed to pay the registration and annual fee and to collect the membership certificate of the Federation.
  3. Organizational Membership:
  4. Firms, companies and other non profit/social service/co–operative organizations interested to obtain the membership of the federation has to complete the following:

    1. Has to fill up the details mentioned in the prescribed form accordingly that could be obtained from Federation of Handicraft Associations of Nepal office.(Download – Organizational Membership Form)
    2. Has to produce photos and citizenship:
      1. Passport size photo of main person -3 copies and 2 auto size photos
      2. Passport size photo of the representative – 3 copies and 2 auto size photos (if applicable)
      3. Passport size photo of the would be candidate in general election of the Federation -3 copies and 1 auto size photo (if applicable)
      4. Citizenship certificate copy of main person of the firm and company.
    3. Has to produce authorized letter issued by the main person to the would be representative.
    4. Has to produce copy of registration of firm/company/organization/institution with concerned Ministry Departments / Office.
    5. Has to produce the copy of registration of firm/company/organization/institution with Internal Revenue Department office whichever is applicable.
    6. Has to produce the copy of agreement between the partners if the applicant is a partnership firm.
    7. Has to produce the copy of Memorandum and Article if the applicant is either a private limited company or public limited company.
    8. Has to produce the copy of the statute or by-laws if the applicant is NGO and non profit organization
    9. Has to stamp the prescribed form with one’s seal in the form.
    10. Has to be proposed by an existing member and seconded by an executive board member in the prescribed form. The proponent if a legal entity, should put on the company seal in the form.
    11. The prescribed form is duly proposed to the executive board meeting for the approval. The applicant will be informed to pay the registration and annual fee and to collect the membership certificate of the Federation.
  5. Institutional membership:
  6. Any institution like commodity/district handicraft association which intends to obtain the membership of the federation has to complete the following:

    1. Has to fill up the details mentioned in the prescribed application form accordingly that could be obtained from NHEAK office.(Download – Institutional Membership Form)
      1. Details of Board members regarding Name, Designation, Address and Business
      2. Copy of registration with concerned entity (authority)
      3. Attested copy of decision of executive board to have the membership or to be affiliated with the NHEAK
      4. Details of members regarding Name, Address and Business respectively
