About Us
Preserving the Soul of Craftsmanship
Nepal Handicraft Entrepreneur Association Kathmandu (NHEAK) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization established in Ashadh 2076 (July 2019) to provide a platform for all handicraft based enterprises of Kathmandu district.
NHEAK is registered with Government of Nepal under Association Registration Act 2034. It is a membership based organization committed to protecting the rights and interests of members while holistically promoting the development of the sector.

Our mission is guided by four fundamental pillars that shape everything we do and every artisan we support.
Support
Support members, producers, entrepreneurs, exporters, traders, artisans and other stakeholders to achieve their potential.
Promote
Enhance the sector’s business opportunities in both the domestic and the international markets through an effective promotions.
Cooperate
Cooperate with the Government of Nepal in unlocking the sector’s potential by lobbying for timely formulation and implementation of relevant policies.
Collaborate
Collaborate with national and international organization for the promotion of the sector
